Building a PC first time recommend a GPU

for $220 maybe a bit more

CPU- Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

motherboard- Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Won't get any better then this;

XFX R9 270X 2GB GDDR5;

Reason this card over lets say MSI, is because this card has the best reviews 5/5 eggs.

I would hesitate to get an XFX GPU. I had two 7950 double D GPUs (same as R9-280) and both their temps were appalling. Sky high with even the slightest load. They appeared to have a similar cooler to the R9-270x, when you see the heat sink, it's tiny.

I quickly swapped them for two HIS ICEq 7950 which were fantastic.
