You could buy a CPU cooler aswell as the FX can get hot. Either of these will do, the 212x might be quieter though.

I would suggest this PSU over the VS/CX versions as they are not the greatest quality. Seasonic is the OEM for the best PSU units.

Your build should be good otherwise. I have not heard of any issues with the 280x, the gtx770 seems to be the rival of that card, not sure what games you plan to play but both will do extremely well. I'd personally get whichever you can find cheaper.

You should buy Intel Core I5 3470 or 3450 or 3570 Processor

If you need physX don't go with an ati card rather than go with a gtx 660 ti. This card has many editions you can buy anyone.

Other things are OK but you not told the case.

Maybe go for the the Corsair 300R for the case

Okay keep the PSU but you really need a CPU cooler and The 300R is just perfect there's also the zalman z9
if you want a more cheaper case just go for the Corsair 200R

bah, I understand money is money, but please understand how important the PSU is. You are putting in $400 alone with the CPU/GPU yet you are not willing to spend $20 (1000rs) for a safe PSU?

The corsair VS series is not even sold in NA/EU... I am assuming it is not efficient or reliable enough.

I was going to recommend the CX500 even though it's bad to, but the CX series is probably better quality to the VS. Then I found this:
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1908041/500w-gigabyte-280x.html

You've got a hell of a good GPU in your system , you will need a good PSU to make sure it can do it's job. :)

If you had to take money out from somewhere, first I'd either find a different case or get a 500gb hard drive instead or only get 4gb of RAM. Unless you can just save up $20 for it.

About your PSU, I checked it out before, and it won't work :p
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2159809/280x-psu-requirement.html

Good news though, this one will work and it's the same price as the ECO 600

About zotac, from what I read they are made by the same company that makes Sapphire GPUs. They are ok and I guess the opinions differ from bad to good.
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1866857/sapphire-toxic-3gb-280x-zotac-gtx-780-3gb-amp-edition.html

I would never buy just because of reviews, but they seem good on newegg.

umm so finally i decided to go with ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB
and PSU - ANTEC VP650P 650 WATTS PSU

thanks alot for helping me :)

edit - one more thing my mobo is good for GTX 770 and like overcloking cpu/gpu ?

jaraldo

Honorable
ahh, I was wondering this...checked it before actually :)

Your mobo is not really suited for OC'ing. It might handle mild overclocks but I wouldn't push it. How much more could you spend on a mobo?
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AgN1D79Joo7tdE9xMUFlMEVWeFhuckJEVF9aMmtpUFE&gid=4

If you get the non-LE version of that mobo you will be ok. It's about 1400rs more though.
Here is some info on OC'ing the 6300 and the mobos.
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1879857/amd-6300-overclocked-amd-8320.html

Edit: depending how much overclocking you want to do, I would even suggest a better PSU :$

well Fx 6300 overclock to 3.8 or 4.0 and GTX 770 no idea :3 (im not sure for overclocking)
what if i dont overclock ? mobo Performance is good ?

jaraldo

Honorable
If you don't OC your mobo is good.

If you see that google link, it says your LE version shouldn't be OC without cooling. You could do 3.8 ghz saftely I would think as that's not much stress.

If you get that non-LE mobo, then you'd be able to OC to 4.2-4.3 pretty safely from what I've read and even more but at a bit of a risk. You might need some cheap fans to if you were to OC, like the kind that come in pairs for $6-7.

hehe, sorry I have no idea about indian sites. Only one that I've ever heard of is flipkart. I have bought from many weird chinese sites here though and they have all come through.

The site looks similar to amazon/ebay with rating and different sellers, do some googling if you are still unsure.
If you buy that board from this store it should be good.
http://www.snapdeal.com/seller/the-value-store/0af4c7

Edit: The LE version should be ok for 3.8, but unless you have OC'd many times and are comfortable with pushing the limits and taking the risk of your system frying, I wouldn't go any further, if at all.

Here is a guy doing a OC with your CPU/Mobo

Well, my last post of the night. You are doing the same thing I did on my first build. Slowly and slowly upping your budget x)

I would recommend for your first build, to be one that is safe. Upgrading the mobo is good and I'm glad you did it. From what I've seen from threads, 4.2-4.5 can be achieved, but look up guides for OCing and do your research first. I'm not 100% certain how far your PSU could go, 4.0 safely, but after that I don't know. You have an amazing GPU that needs power and if you are OCing, your CPU is really power hungry and it might start to push limits.

Remember that just because someone gets 4.8 with the same set up you have, doesn't mean you will get the same. All parts are different and some have a better ability to OC than others. When I was researching for my i5-2500k 3 years ago, some guys were getting 5.3 and other guys could only get 4.8. I just settled on 4.4 because it was the safe level and on this CPU OC'ing was really easy to do.

This is your first build, and with such a set up you can play many good games at high settings with decent FPS for 2-3 years I'm sure, so make it last :)
