I've been trying to choose between two Full ATX cases that have grabbed my attention.

The first is the Cooler Master Storm Stryker. I like the looks, the Front I/O is nice, and the internals look roomy and very customizable. The price is good, and it's made out of a good metal. The downside for this case is the fact that it doesn't have side cooling for my GPU and wireless card, both of which generate their fair share of heat. $137.99 at time of writing.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The second case is the Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition. This case is much nicer, with substantially better cooling and lighting, not to mention the fact that the hard drives can be inserted and taken out without opening the case. The I/O is also nice, but I dislike vertical USB slots, just in case I accidentally bump something plugged in. I've also read a comment that the case contains lots of plastic, which I'm trying to avoid. $259.99

If you will, please vote, and leave a comment with your opinion on which I should get, and any experience you may have had with one of the cases. Thanks!

Be aware that the Stryker is a massive and heavy case. I do like it over the Level 10 Gt. I haven't seen the Level 10 GT in person, but I have taken a look at the Stryker in person at my local Microcenter.

Take a look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfkuKVd1YPY

Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely going to want the biggest one possible, and I'm a FedEx package handler, so nothing is all that heavy to me. XD

If i was to pick one it would be the storm Stryker. But you also asked for suggestions. I personally and many others love the Phanteks Enthoo Primo that would be my number one go to for an ATX case then the Corsair Obsidian 900D.
There are other suggestions not sure on your budget though?

My budget is ~$250. I'll check out the Phanteks and Obsidian.

I have the ThorV2 and it is a massive case that can easily hold several drives and fit my EATX motherboard and multiple graphics cards. It also comes with a side fan, a front fan, a upper rear fan, and upper fans installed already for great cooling out of the box. It has fan control knobs you can hook up if you want to, 2 USB 2.0, 2 USB 3.0, microphone and headphone jacks, and SATA connection in the front for easy use. I got mine for $100 on sale.

I just watched this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhktBH9oPUg&index=2&lis...) video on the Primo. That thing has SICK water cooling capabilities, although I'm not so sure how I feel about the overall system. My GPU does well with an extra cooling fan directly next to it, and this doesn't have any side cooling support. :p

Looks like a nice case, although I'm not too crazy about the front I/O. I'm more of a button man, myself, and I prefer my reset button to be able to be pressed with a finger (unless I can't see it properly in a Newegg picture. XD) I do quite like that massive side fan, so I'll keep this in my considerations.

The reset button is very small and requires a pen or something like that to push. It is under one of fan speed control knobs.

You said that you like a fan next to your gpu. In the enthoo primo you have the option to drop fans directly under the gpu thus would be more effective in my opinion than being at the side because it blows air directly into the fans on the gpu itself. Plus with a little creativity. You can make that case do whatever you like.
June 7, 2014 12:28:40 PM

That Enthoo Primo case is really nice. the fans are "ok", but it comes with a lot. Don't get something like a 900D.

I just wanted to say that I like it as well as DEMDEAD. So thumbs up to that suggestion.

I like the look of that, although I'm looking for a Full sized case, and those usually also come with USB3.0. Is there any kind of upgraded version of this that you know of?

Yes there is an upgraded version that will come out soon which is the 780T. But personaly i think the 760T looks alot better and has more capable cooling and i mean its just down right sexy if you clean up inside.

Corsair 760T http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Graphite-Series-Windowed-...
it comes in white or black thus far.

Corsair 780T http://www.corsair.com/en-us/landing/graphite-series-38... this is the update they made for the 600T but i think the above 760T is more like it.

Take a look at them and tell me what you think let me know if you need more recommendations.

I like the look of the case, and especially so the hinged door (I never like taking off side panels, since they're always a pain to get back on,) but I'm looking for a case with a bit more side cooling. My GPU likes lots of airflow. ;D

ok as for side air flow i would recommend the Cooler Master HAF 932 Advance or COSMOS II

CM HAF 932 Advanced http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Cosmos II http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CjkKEQ...

this one is pricey but you get a lot of air cooling options included

The USB header on the front should only go to one USB header on you mother board. So no matter if its 3 on front it links to one header.

Ok i understand now. yes that device you showed earlier would take care of that just fine. although most motherboards do come with 3 USB headers so you should be fine but just as a precaution and as you said you cant clearly remember it wouldn't hurt throwing in a couple extra with that extender you just found. :)
