I currently have a 1 monitor setup (inputs: 1xHDMI, 1xDVI-D, 1xVGA), and want to connect both my Xbox One and Gaming PC to the monitor. Currently, my PC uses a HDMI to connect to the monitor. As the Xbox One only supports HDMI output (and ignoring that is has HDMI input as the delay is annoying), should i get a DVI-D cable for the PC and use HDMI from the xbox, or should i get a HDMI splitter? (Note: the monitor does have built-in speakers but they're crap, so i have a cheap pair of speakers with much better quality connected to the monitor)

Maybe you can get a 2 way hdmi splitter. But you must get original and not fake hdmi splitter from these professional hdmi websites. Such as Amazon,Hdgenius,Ebay etc.

I ended up buying a cheap HDMI switch from eBay for 3 quid, works absolutely perfectly.
