Hello Guys,
I'm buying a new gamer pc, and could use some help and tips.

Actual Hardware:
MB: GA-990FXA-UD5 REV 3.0
CPU: Phenom II X4 965
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8gb 1866
GPU: GTX550 TI
PSU: Corsair CX430

And here goes the stuff that i want do buy, and hope that you guys can give me some advices:
CPU: FX9370 or FX8350?
GPU: AMD R9 290X or NVIDIA GTX 780? Or Maybe Another?
PSU: Probably a corsair 700W+
WC: Corsair H80i probably

Thanks in advance!

if this is for gaming I would go intel. The fx 9000 chips are ridiculously hot running, a h80i is a minimum for cooling.

AMD is a solid choice for a GPU right now as the prices are where they should be.

I would definitely go Intel at this price range:

CPU Cooler: Corsair H80i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($84.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($109.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 290X 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($529.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: XFX 650W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ NCIX US)

I recommend either the 8350 or an i5, the i5 is faster.
I'm guessing you mean 1866 RAM? 1866 DDR 3 is a good choice.
R9 290X or 780 is a matter of what games you play. You should look up some performances charts and make a decision. The 780 ti is faster than both, but it's also quite expensive and beyond the point of dimenishing returns (price/performance).
Corsair does not manufacture PSUs. a 650W PSU of a good brand will handle any single-GPU setup fine. Look for 650w+ of seasonic/xfx or similar. FYI the best corsairs are made by seasonic.
I would get the H100i if you are going water cooling. The 100i has good or equal performance compared to the H105 and other high-end water cooling solutions, but has a thinner radiator and a pretty good track record.

FYI I really like these suggestions. The R9 280X or the GTX 770 are both really solid choices for 1080p.

I'm personally running an overclocked 3570K @ 4.3GHZ with a GTX 770, and my computer handles all modern games at high/ultra at 1080p.

If you need every single setting maxxed (anti-aliasing, phyX, etc) look for a bigger card than the GTX 770 or R9 280.

@BleedingEdgeTek and woltej1
The problem with intel is, that i recently bought that mobo, so, dont plan to change...

So you guys think that R9 290x is more valuable than GTX 780? (More specifically MSI gaming)
And... why another GPUs for 1080p?

And yes, i mean 1866.. already edited...

At 1080p, the 280x/770 will get you Ultra/Max at 60 FPS at 1080p, spending more than around $325 or so is just not really worth it for 1080p.

The 290x is definitely better than a 780 when priced similarly, though in some games the 780 will still pull ahead.

And if you already have that motherboard, I would get the 8320 or 8350 and do the overclocking yourself. Just be sure to get something like a Noctua NH-D14 or H100i/H105.
