Hello all, I've decided to start building my first computer. I've talked to a few people I know and in this forum and have narrowed my build down to this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9T4F4D .Any input on this pc would be much appreciated. This PC is my max budget at the moment.

My goal is to be able to play games like Battlefield 4 at ultra settings and Skyrim with a decent amount of mods.

Note: I already own the case so I'm not able to switch that out.

Why not get the new devils canyon processor like the 4790k? Also, I wouldn't go with the lga2011 socket unless you have a reason too(like extreme video editing stuff) , but the 4770k(or the new 4790k(no benchmarks yet)) is praticulary the same in gaming as the 4820k.

As you can see, the 4770k is just as good as the 4960x which is a thousand dollar 6 core.
You also don't need a sound card as the motherboard sound chip is almost always better than a pci sound card

For some hefty over clocks, you will want a better cpu cooler like the air cooler Noctua NH-D14 or the water-cooling Corsair h100i.

What monitor do you have? refresh rate and resolution?
