Sims game help

I'm looking on buying sims complete collection and I have a dell Inspiron 1545. Will the sims work on this laptop as I don't want to waste money on the sims then it doesn't work. Please help.

Which SIMS? There are 3.

SIMS 1, it should run fine. 2, maybe on lower detail. 3 it may not play well at all.
