Hello I currently am about to start college and I was wondering
Should I major in computer science and then get certified by Cisco?
Or whats the best way to take my learning route?

Finish college then work on your certificates. Certificates usually expire after a set number of years, and it would do you no use getting certified, graduating, then having to get certified again.

"CCNA Routing and Switching certifications are valid for three years" It's right on their website.

If you wish to pursue a career in the IT field, that would be your best bet.

Many certifications do not expire as long as the holder maintains an active career in the applicable field. Otherwise they typically have to be renewed every 3 to 5 years
