Hey i want to get a gtx 780, will i have a good enough PSU?

Can i run a GTX 780 on my 600 watt PSU along with the rest of my system?

My Specs:
600watt PSU
AMD 6200(tm)
GTX 660
16gb of ram
1 Optical drive
2tb hard drive

Your GTX660 won't be using much power at all. For single card setups you can do with 500-550w. If you want to overclock 650w, and if you want dual GPUs then 750w minimum.

Edit: even the 780 will go on a 550w, but what brand do you have?

Hey i checked and i do not have a Xigmatek 600w but instead i have a Powercool X-Viper 650w, which according to the list you provided is awful and should be replaced immediately :/

Your cpu would have been bottlenecking your 660, so I can imagine it'll be worse with the 780. It depends on what kind of games you'd be playing, but no point buying a 780 if you can't playing on ultra.

But we'll deal with the PSU first as a bad one is really trouble. Do you ever think you'll have dual graphics cards? If not this 550w is great quality for single card computers.

No i don't think i will ever use a dual card setup, will the 550w be enough for higher end video cards though?

Even if you got an r9 290x and were playing intensive games, you'd peak at 300w and your CPU is 125w. So you should be fine.

As long as you go by this list though you will be good. A tier 2 or higher since you aren't overclocking.
