Hi guys, new to the forum so I wasn't sure where to go. I am looking into selling my 2-3 year old PC for parts and am not sure how to go about it or valuing any of it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

1 x ($74.99) MB ASROCK|A75M FM1 A75 R

1 x ($99.99) VGA ASUS | EAH6670/DIS/1GD5 RT

1 x ($69.99) PSU OCZ|OCZ550FTY 550W RT

The best way to value it is to find comparable components on eBay and go with that. The individual components will bring more money sold apart than the system would bring as a unit. Unfortunately used parts are only a fraction of the value of when they were new. I don't know about the CPU or motherboard but some of the other parts are as follows:
keyboard $1, Ram approx $5 per GB, Case $25, GPU $45, PSU $20, Hard drive $35. That is why I buy used parts when I build computers. I can build a computer for generally less than $75.

Expect about 50% of what you paid for it. I remember hearing around that time of the hdd prices really being high due to the floods....500gb hdd only go for about 50ish bucks brand new right now and hardly anybody would get one when brand new 1tb hdds are always 60bucks now, with wd blue 1tb and the seagate 1tb always being around 60bucks too. Would be decent for somebody to have a beginner pc though, and it's a super computer compared to my old laptop haha :p

Don't sell the keyboard, that can be reused.

is that hard drive SATA? If it is, then I can get the same thing (from WD) for as little as $60.
The graphics card is worth upwards of $120.
I would sell the CPU and the motherboard as a combo, and for a little extra, maybe throw the RAM in. If that RAM is DDR2, somebody with an older machine is going to want it.

Other than that, good luck. as for places to sell it, I'd go ebay.
