Unless you are running quad GPUs, this is overkill.

Any word on price for this or the AXi? I'm glad there is competition. FSP needs to get off their butts and make something epic like this.

I can't imagine many people needing to push 1600W let alone 1000W.

Two Titans consume less than 500W full tilt. Like redgarl said "Unless you are running quad GPUs, this is overkill."

And if you can afford four Titans, you got too much f'***ing money. /jealous

It's for when people have an FX-9590 and two R9 295s in quadfire.

Can I plug my dryer in to this out of the box or do I need to buy a separate cable?

Add a large WC loop with pumps in series and push/pull config 480mm rads. That'll increase wattage used.

The financial outlay you need to have spent on any PC to justify purchasing a PSU anywhere close to 1600W surely pigeon holes the purchaser into cloud cuckoo land...no GPU/CPU configuration scales well enough to justify this.

This power range and effciency is also good for GPGPU compute such as folding and mining farms. Even a few % goes a long way at that wattage.

If any does push this to max, you are getting close to what the household circuit can handle (I think 15 amps for a single outlet unless specially wired i.e. garage, kitchen, bathroom)
