I'm looking at building a rig to use for VJing and Video mapping, as well as other projects. I plan on hackintoshing this thing, so compatibility is a must. I'm wondering a couple things:

1) If there are any foreseeable hangups with this configuration
2) If anyone might be able to recommend any changes to this configuration for better price/performance

Very maximum budget would be $1500, but I plan on putting this in a rack mount case with a road case around that, so I'd rather not come too close to that. This machine is probably going to be used for 0 gaming.

There is a TigerDirect Retail store where I'm currently at, and sales tax is low (currently in FL) so I'm considering just buying all the parts at TigerDirect and avoiding the hassle of shipping/waiting/RMA-ing if I have to. I priced most of the items on this build at TD and the price only comes out to about $100 more when shipping is taken into account. Going tomorrow to check for availability at the local retail store, but I recall them having most of these parts.

Thanks!

Edit: I don't know how this ended up in the Mac OS X forum. I was posting to the System forum. If this is in the wrong place, can it be moved to the System forum?

Only issue is the GPU. Although AMD does work, it's usually hit and miss, and needs to be very specific. Save yourself the hassle, buy an nvidia GTX 760 or 770, depending on budgets/sales/etc.
