First of all, my graphic card is GTX 645 2GB. It has one VGA, one Dual Link DVI-D and one HDMI port. Other specs information: http://www.acer.com.sg/ac/en/SG/content/model-datasheet/DT.SPXSG.007
(Don't confirm the graphic card from the datasheet)
I have followed the steps to think that it will manage somehow to fix my HDMI connection but it didn't work. http://acer-sg.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27102
I have change the setting from VGA to HDMI in my Philips monitor. Then I plugged in my HDMI cable and it still didn't work. The error message shows ''Check the cable'' and i done checking 5 times to make sure it is connected from the graphic card HDMI port to my monitor.
So any ideas what's causing those problems? Before and after i plugged in my HDMI cable and updated my display driver, it is still not working. I have restarted my computer many times but it still won't give me any hints that it will make my monitor screen any miracles to work. Maybe i missed some of the guidance from many parts of troubleshooting websites. So please help me and i would be thankfully enough that i would also send your suggestions to my friends if they going to buy Acer desktops. Cheers!
