What is the standard (or safe) temp for cpu and thrs?

Noticed my computer getting hot, then lowering performance today while running a taxing game, and I was wondering what are the "normal" temps for components?

I have amd7800, and my cpu usually sits between 44-46 Celsius using stock fans

ok, it's confusing. is AMD7800 the GPU? If so why do you mention the GPU and then ask about CPU temps?

All parts GPUs and CPUs have specification sheets. In those are listed the safe operating temperatures as well as their tolerance (usually over a much wider spectrum) for non-operating temperatures.
