Hey, I have two 4gb RAM sticks. Sometimes my system used to show only 4gb of RAM, but after reseating, it was back to 8gb..
But yesterday, while watching a movie, cpu made a strange screeching sound and bsod occurred and computer stopped booting.
And now if I run my Computer with just one RAM stick seated in any of the 4 available slots, it works fine. Both RAM sticks are working fine individually, but when seated together the computer would not boot up.
Please help with the problem.

Hey, thanks for replying :)
And sorry, here are the specs

Intel Core i5 3330 and not overclocked
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H
Windows 7, 64-bit
RAM: Kingston kvr1333D3N9/4G-SP, 240-pin Dimm, DRam Frequency- 665.1 MHz
Intel(R) HD-Graphics, not overclocked
500 Gb HDD

It appears that when 2 RAM sticks are used, you should place them in both [strike]blue [/strike] WHITE sockets. Try that and post back if it works or not.

Hold on, actually it says when 2 sticks are used, use the two WHITE slots.

2. When enabling Dual Channel mode with two or four memory modules, it is recommended that memory
of the same capacity, brand, speed, and chips be used and installed in the same colored DDR3
sockets. For optimum performance, when enabling Dual Channel mode with two memory modules,
we recommend that you install them in the DDR3_1 and DDR3_2 sockets

I'm looking at your manual right now here:

Sounds like the motherboard needs RMA then, since CMOS CLEAR didn't help.
