Best deal on a 120hz gaming monitor? Quality:Price

I'm on a budget and I want a monitor for gaming. Everything that refreshes at 60ghz seems a waste of the frame rate from a decent video card, so I'm looking for one that refreshes at 120ghz, and I know so very little about monitors. What's the best quality to price ratio out there right now? What's the best deal? Again....On a budget

What is your budget? For $250 you can get a Asus VG248QE 144Hz refresh 1080P 3D monitor. I personally own it, and can vouch the extra speed and smoothness of the monitor is amazing!

Yeah, it is a very good monitor.

Absolutly. It is even better when paired up with some Nvidia 3D vision glasses.

That's fantastic guys. Thanks. If I can get the spare cash, I'll definitely get that one. What about in the $150-$180ish range?

I play fast paced games and a buddy of mine said the 3d just hurts his head with fast motion PVP, so 3D isn't a must, but refresh for frame rate is.
