Help deciding between hybrid sshd or hdd.

I am building a pc, http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/quotes/amd-bulldozer-top-spec-pc/BBppzHtwa8/ And i am deciding weather to go for a hdd or sshd, I can only fit one drive in sincei have limited money, I will be usuing the computer mainly for gaming, Graphics, Video editing, and alike, I can only go with 1tb of either, (Money restraints) so storage space on both isnt a question.
The twos drives are:
1TB WD CAVIAR BLACK, Or,
1TB 3.5" SEAGATE HYBRID DRIVE.

Help would be much appreciated.

The hybrid drive is always a better option than a HDD if you can afford the extra £10. You will notice the difference in boot up times for the OS and programs.

What about for playing games which require fast speeds? Which one will be faster in that sence.
Also what is the cache and stuff for?

Hybrid drives work by putting the most used files onto a small SSD within the drive. Thus, your most used games will start up quicker. The bigger the cache, the faster the drive generally. It holds data to be quickly accessed. You will not notice an fps increase in games using a hybrid drive.

The system will be faster than a HDD because of the small SSD in the drive.

Apart from the price, there are some reports of the SSD in the hybrid to wear down faster, decreasing the life of the drive somewhat.

Is that in all drives or just a few? Im looking at a seagate 1tb/8gb 1.3" st1000dx001 hybrid drive.
Also how big is windows do you know? Will it go on the sssd ppart of the drive?

The Seagate drive is a very good make so you wont have any problems with that.
Windows without any programs installed is around 20gb, so some of that will go on the SSD as it is frequently used, increasing your computer speed.

The drive will show up as any other drive would with one partition, and the SSD management will be done automatically.
