nvidia 780 3gb vs 780 6gb

I am going to be playing games on a triple monitor setup off a single GPU.

i am debating between the 2 different 780s (3 and 6gb)

will a 3gb card drive a triple monitor setup? or do i need the vram boost of the 6gb one?

I play games such as gmod, bf3 and 4, tf2, minecraft, mostly fps.
I do sometimes use mods, but they are not an enormous priority (although i would like to have them)

The more the better Single monitor set ups now need 3gb, so you'll need the 6 i think! I'm currently buying the 780 3gb for single monitor set up cause my gtx670 2gb has not enough memory anymore.

By mods i believe you use either SweetFX or ENB

A single 780 wont run 3x surround @ 1440p with medium settings. 1080p will be pushing the card to its limits. i suggest you look at either SLI 780ti's or a Titan Black.

I have two 780 classifieds running 5760x1080 and they are doing a decent job if i could do it over i would defiantly get the bigger cards and one card will defiantly not cut it im actually going to add a third to get my fps over 60 consistently on ultra settings in bf4
