I was just wondering: someone recommended me the ASRock 970 Extreme4 for my new PC build. So I went looking it up and found that it has SATA3 support and Crossfire/SLI support. At the same time I looked up the chipset and found that the chipset doesn't support Crossfire/SLI and SATA3 ports. How is this motherboard able to have those functions then?

It was released after most of the 970 boards.
