Can GTX 770 4GB run 4K???

Planning to upgrade to a 4k monitor...
Wondering if NVIDIA Geforce GTX 770 can power 4K resolution without problems

I dont intend to do much of gaming on my computer
&
Single 4K Monitor Setup

Running on
i7-4770k
16Gb RAM
GTX 770 4GB
2TB Hard drive

Please answer

4GB may be of use but you'll find the R9 290 4GB for that little more will suit you far better, trust me. On par with GTX 780 for a much less of a price. That said if not doing ultra gaming, both will be great, though the R9 290 will do better.

Depends on the games and settings. Really you should have at least 2 for 4K.

a 770 will of course run it without any problems. But of course a 290 will do this even better and shouldn't cost to much more. In games this makes more of a difference.

But this is more of a yes or no question...

I already HAVE the GTX 770 & just want to know whether i could upgrade from 1080p to a 4K Monitor

I don't plan on upgrading or changing my video card
I just want to know if i could run smooth 4k on the 770

NO GAMING,
Buying 4k monitor only for more visual benefit and screen estate
NO GAMING

yes then.

Though don't expect ultra/high gaming with AA in modern games.

I have gone from 1080p-> 1440p -> 2160p (4k), the difference between them is clearly there, only when games and applications take advantage of it.
