Would this be a good gaming and programming pc for 2800$ CAD including all the peripherals?

Hi I was wondering if this could be a good pc for 2800$ with all the peripherals.
I will only be gamng, programming and doing school work on it.

Here are the Components:

Samsung 840 evo 250gb ssd
corsair hx850.
MSI gtx 780 3gb twin frozr
Intel core i5 4670k
Corsar H100i liquid CPU cooler
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Asus PCE-AC68 802.11a/b/g/n/ac PCI-Express x1
Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower
Noctua NT-H1 3.5g thermal paste
Asus Maximus VII hero Z97 LGA1150
WD 1tb caviar black
Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition (2-Pack) 62.7 CFM 120mm

I would appreciate your honest comments and I would like to know if you would opt for a GTX 780 or a 770 or a different graphics card (if it's a different graphicss card, tell me which one) I would also like to know if you would change anything and if you know a better bang for your buck at around the same price or less, plz tell me.

If you can afford the Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD, get that instead. I have one, and it rocks! Otherwise, the 840 Evo is still good.

That PSU is overkill, unless you plan on getting a second graphics card later. I would get this one.

I would skip the thermal paste, unless you really want it.

I am planning on getting a second graphics card next year and i will remove thermal paste thank you for your feedback
