Hello! this is my first post! i'm currently trying to upgrade my computer, as its a piece of crap lol, and im trying to figure out if my motherboard is compatible with the gcard i had in mind, weather or not its just better to rebuild another pc, OR if i can get away with just swapping parts.

Thanks in advance! :)

My pc build is as following -
Cooler Master HAF 922 Midi Tower Black.
Corsair TX V2 650W PSU.
AMD FX-6100 6-Core Processor.
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3, Socket-AM3+.
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 16GB CL9.
XFX Radeon HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 "Dual Fan".

what i'm looking at getting is http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-msi-gtx-770-tf-gaming-pcie-30-%28x16%29-7010mhz-gddr5-gpu-1098mhz-boost-1150mhz-cores-1536-dport-dvi

Hi Warlanoth
The GeForce GTX 770 requires a psu with 42A on the +12v rail and a 600W PSU minimum
Your Corsair TX V2 650W PSU. , which is an excellent quality psu with high grade japanese capacitors
has 53A on the +12v rail and 650W
You will be fine to get that card , plug it in and enjoy :)
It will work fine

Thank you for the replies :) !this might be a silly question, but if i was looking for crossfire two of those, would my pc be able to do so, or would i need to swap parts?
