Just wanted to say, I couldn't be happier with my i5 2500k. Been browsing various overclocking forums including Tom's Hardware, and I can't help but feel lucky. I have an Asrock p67 Extreme4 motherboard, which I bought in mid 2011. Had an i3 in it till I upgraded to my 2500k in early 2012.
A few months later i threw in an H100 with 4 cougar fans and overclocked it to 4.8 using the built in overclocking tool in the UEFI. I literally never had to do another thing. Never got a BSOD, no problems at all. And I leave my computer on 24/7 and do everything on it. Gaming, mining, you name it. Doesnt go above 45c unless im loading the hell out of it with prime95 or something else. I'm not one to test the limits, but I've never seen it past 75c. All in all, this thing is FAST AS HELL. Anyone else have similar luck?
