Help with picking a good graphics card

I'm building a computer but idk what graphics card i should get. My friend suggested this one to go with the FX-6300

I'm trying to stay under a $220 budget for my graphics card.
I usually play steam games but mostly Planetside 2 and Minecraft.

I have a Corsair CX750M and a HX 650. They are both new.

I have a Corsair CX750M and a HX 650. They are both new.

Either of those power supplies will be more than enough to power the R9 280 or 270x.

If your just running the one card, use the HX 650 it's much better quality.
