This is a new build and the system ran for about 2-3 hours before the problem occured. It all started when I noticed that one of my ram sticks didn't show up in windows. I opened up the case and looked at the sticks to see if they were properly seated they looked right but i decided to reseat them anyway. When I went to turn the computer back on everything was running but the red cpu led came on indicating there was a problem with the cpu. I figured it must have died so I decided to just rma it as well as the RAM sticks.

My processor is coming tomorrow and the ram in at least a week. However I'm wondering if I might just have problems with the motherboard. I plugged in the speaker today and there were no post beeps however everything else was running. What do you guys think?

I'm gonna put some generic ddr3 memory from another computer I got until my sticks come in, will that be ok for testing?
