Can a 4k monitor display 1920 x 1080 at 60fps via HDMI (PS4)

I am considering upgrading to a 4k monitor for my PC, but I also run a Playstation 4 through my PC monitor. The monitor I am looking at (Samsung U28D590D) will display 4k at 60 fps through the display port and 4k at 30 fps through the hdmi port.

My question is, will the PS4 be able to display at 1920 x 1080 at 60fps through the HDMi connection? Or will it only display at 30 fps?

Probably. Have a look at the specs and manual. Post a link to one.

ya, HDMI can handle 1080p @ 60 fps
but @ 2160p(4K) - 60 fps, currently only display port can handle that much data
although future versions of HDMI are suppose too

In the specifications it lists 1920 x 1080 over HDMI as having a 60hz vertical frequency. Am I right in assuming this mean a PS4 outputting at 1920 x 1080 would display at 60fps?
