Help Please..I need your help in building my first computer!

First Computer Build

I'm building a computer from scratch for the first time and I was wondering if everything fits in perfectly and there's nothing wrong with the build (ex. noise, size, speed, and all the technical stuff) I also want to know if I can play DotA 2 with the best specs.

1. AMD A10-5800K APU 3.8Ghz Processor

2. FM2 AMD A78 (Bolton D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

3. Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL9 @1.5V UDIMM 240-Pin Memory BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00

4. Antec VP-450 450 Watt Energy Star Certified Power Supply

5. WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive: 3.5 Inch, 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64 MB Cache - WD10EZEX

6. Samsung Electronics SATA 1.5 Gb-s Optical Drive, Black SH-224DB/BEBE

7. Thermaltake Commander MS-I Snow Edition VN40006W2N No PS Mid Tower Case (Black/White)

Please help me out! :D Thanks!

The socket you are using for the motherboard and AMD APU are both old. I would suggest getting the fm2+ socket as it's new and you can upgrade the APU on it as better products come out.

What is your budget?

I was guessing you didn't want to do overclocking or have it be really futureproof and more just wanted to be able to play your games :p

So this build will be better than the APU one and if you ever wanted to, you could put a really nice CPU in like the i5-4670. You could put in a better graphics card like the r9 280 sometime down the road to. (you would want to change the PSU then though)

Both builds will play dota2 in max settings, but the 2nd one is a more powerful computer in general.

Some benchmarks for dota 2
http://www.hardwareheaven.com/2014/01/amd-a10-7850k-kaveri-apu-review-featuring-gigabyte-g1-sniper-a88x/7/
This test is with integrated graphics(APU) and no discrete graphics card in the build.

The 2nd build I have mentioned could play many newer games and high/ultra settings as well as dota2.

Take some time to research about APUs vs CPU/GPU :)
