How to FIX COMPUTER that DOESNT STARTS UP

so here's the situation..

i have an ASUS motherboard and it doesnt startup or boot
i tried to do the paperclip trick then it starts... might that did some damage?

so, it starts up, everything went well, CPU fan starts, so does my hard drives, power button lights up, and also my Optical Drive/ Cd Drive...

problem is that there's no display.. i cant turn it off.. even i press the power button for a looong time.. no beeps..

PLEASE HELP!
