if the best type of SSD, Im looking for most likely a dual x 16 GPU support so that if prices drop i can go out and buy another MOBO. I am also looking to put in an SSD for the first time so that windows and any other mission critical systems can boot right away (looking for 256 GB please let me know if i should get more) and i if told to go with m.2 I Don't even know what to look for in the SSD. From the home work i've done to date SanDisk X210 256 GB $185 Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB look best but they are not n.2. I would appreciate any input on any front lol.

thank,
sebastian

Ryt now there is no popularity of M.2 form factor.
And SSDs will evolve in time..
So If you want to wait till next year, its your decision. Though samsung 840 evo pro 250gb is the best in field till now for the price!
But what about this-
Samsung XP941 256GB M.2 PCIe
.
And ryt now i can't say that the next gen M.2 boards will have sataE ports too. But I guess they won't just kill the old SSD, And they will have to launch some connectors or Old sata port connectivity to their new MoBos...
Here is the mobo-
Asus z97 extreme 6

Please select a best answer when you are done, thanks.
