i7 4770k @ 4.8 GHz (48x100)
Core Voltage: 1.317 V
Idle Temperature: 30-35 degrees
Intense Gaming: 40-55 degrees
Prime95 Test: 70-80 degrees
Are these temperatures too hot? I understand overclocking in general will shorten the life span of a CPU but isn't the main killer of CPU's when overclocking, the heat and the heat that comes from increased Vcore? Well I don't think 40-55 degrees @ 4.8 GHz is too hot while playing video games? I'd like some input please.
