CPU heat sink mount for HP m9500y

So the CPU fan died a few months ago; finally found a suitable replacement.

Today; suddenly PC 'revs' up, then shuts down. On restart I hear a fan ratteling, Thought it might be the case fan; but no the CPU heatsink is flopping around!

The little plastic tab that holds the fan assembly down, snapped off; so not a secure fit any more.

So 1) Can I just get this plastic part thats mounted on the MB?
if not 2) what kind/brand/etc generic replacement heatsink will fit?

It's an HP m9500y, CPU is an amd phenom x4 9750

Seems it's an MSI motherboard.

That means that space permitting (you can look and measure. Almost any generic aftermarket cooler that will work for your processor's socket type *should* work for you. Look carefully and make sure that there are mounting holes for the bracket that goes behind the motherboard.

Thanks; I did more searching. Found out the plastic base can be purchased separately. Ordered one; hope it's the right part!
