What else do people do with high-end PCs?

I'm not sure where the right place for this is, but I only ever hear people talking about high-end PCs for gaming. What else do people use them for?

You might want to add an 'else' into the title.

It depends. Often things like post-production for photography, which can get pretty processing power intensive if you're correcting lens distortions and stuff like that.

Also, there's more business-oriented things like rendering product images, or doing fluid dynamics.

Video editing, 3-D modelling, etc. Basically rendering anything. Some people use them to mine bitcoins.
