Can I use different ram?

Hello I purchased a single 8 GB 1866 MHz Ripjaw ram stick a few months ago and recently upgraded to 2x8 GB 1333 MHz Ripjaw ram sticks. Am I able to stick the 1866 MHz ripjaw stick into my MOBO with the other two 1333 MHz sticks for a total of 24 GB? If so, wouldn't the only "issue" be that the 1866 MHz would be reduced to 1333 MHz to run at the same speed?

yes it can if the cas is the same then Its possible, but I don't recommend it.
