After my last graphics card died horribly in a blazing inferno (exaggeration), I RMA'd it as was suggested to me here, I now have £150 to spend on a new one.
I tried looking for another HD7870 from Sapphire or MSI but new ones are either out of stock, or way more expensive than they used to be and I don't want to buy a used one because I really want the warranty.
I'm looking for something that can run current games on high settings and future games maybe on medium (asking for more is most likely out of my price range).
I don't care about noise, I just want it to run well and cool (unlike my last one, 95*C+? No thanks).

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You can go for Sapphire Radeon R9 280X TOXIC 3GB GDDR5.

It is a great card and the custom cooling solution by Sapphire is sure to keep the heat at bay. It has got 3 GB VRAM which is good if you see from future gaming perspective. This GPU gets a bit out of your budget, but if you can manage those extra bucks, this will be a great card indeed.

Thanks for the suggestion!
That is indeed a very sexy card, unfortunately I really can't afford the extra £50 at the moment.

The R9 270x or maybe even the GTX 760/750Ti.
