I got MSI P45 Diamond and 2x2GB DDR3 CL7 RAM.
I recently bought 2x4GB CL9 RAM.
I removed my old, and inserted the new ones. Started up the computer.. nothing appears at the monitor.
Removed the new RAM and inserted the old RAM.
Now it works. But suddenly at POST, a warning message appears:
"
Warning !!! The previous overclocking had failed, and system will restore its default setting
"
I have never overclocked my computer, so have no idea why this happened.
Anyone that can shed a light on this?
Can it be that the Motherboard only supports 2GB RAMs? Or does not P¤% Diamond support CL9 RAM?
