From the Wall Street Journal...ISIS Declares New Islamist Caliphate: Militant Group Declares Statehood, Demands Allegiance From Other Organizations
The return of the Islamic Caliphate has been long considered the fountainhead of the New World Order, the fall of Israel, and the rise of the 12th Imam.
Muslim independence? Or, the beginning of the New World Order?

Bush Signs Status of Forces Agreement
Quote:
The Security Agreement sets a date of December 31, 2011, for all U.S. forces to withdraw from Iraq. If you are not telling the truth, Marv, what are you doing ?
Trolling, revising history or trying to keep the ignorant Republican base in line, frothing and angry ??

Ironically, keeping Bush's timeline for troop withdrawals from Iraq is one of the few campaign promises Obama made that he actually kept. Troops withdrawal or not is really a moot point.
The rise of the Muslim Brotherhood and forming of a Caliphate would have happened regardless of which president signed whatever agreement to pull out the troops. Anybody with half a sense knew that as soon as American and NATO forces pulled out of Iraq it was going to create a power vacuum. Whether you agree with it or not, the troop withdrawal was the right things to do to prevent America from perpetually playing peacekeeper and nation builder; especially considering how unpopular having American troops in Iraq was to begin with. I believe American did it's part to establish the foundation for an Iraqi government but also ultimately believe the fault is due to the fact that Maliki was unable to solidify a federal Iraqi government with the Islamic factions.
In any event, President George H. W. Bush called for the start of the New World Order in his 9/11/1991 speech. The recent events in the Middle East were predicted in a 1996 report compiled by the US House of Representative's Task Force on On Terrorism And Unconventional Warfare called "Approaching the New Cycle of Arab-Israeli Fighting". The establishment of a new Islamic Caliphate is often cited as the beginning of the NWO and the fall Israel. Call it conspiracy or whatever you want but all things considered, it is all too eerie to be purely coincidence. I'm just saying...

If I am going to sarcastically thank Obama it will be for pushing this delusional idea that there is such a thing as "moderate rebels" (which stinks of incredulity as a standalone). These fairy tale moderates who wage a war that catches millions in the crossfire are fighting a war sparked by religious differences just like isis. That is the new plan, to arm the "moderate rebels" so they can fight a two front war against Asad and Isis. The entire concept is ludicrous!

We shouldn't have gone in there to start with, unless there was going to be follow through.
The US should have annexed the entire country and setup a 52nd? state.
By now those new US citizens would have all of the delights of America.
Think of all of the lost revinue for gun sales, McDonalds, and Chevy??
Jeez ... what a lost opportunity.
Russia has clearly more ambition.

Marv, the Artful Dodger: I am telling the truth and I am a REALIST.How many troops did Obama leave when we left Iraq? Answer that! There are approximately 9,000 U.S. defense and civilian personnel in Iraq, Mr. Wizard, in addition to two brigade combat teams and a combat aviation brigade stationed in Kuwait (in early 2012).
If you watched something other than Fox News, you might know that, Marv.
Son of Ex- (who helped turn out the lights in Baghdad in 2011) laughed when I asked him about our re-deploy to Kuwait in 2012, implying we have a lot more stationed there than we are letting on. The BCTs above would constitute over 12k solders, Marv, with an overall deploy in Kuwait likely in excess of 20k right now.
You want some cheese with that whine, Marv ?

No chance of ISIS being able to spread its influence to other countries. It's pretty clear that if Baghdad is threatened, military action would be taken by many countries including the US.Who's gonna stop ISIS? Certainly not the Syrians, they're over 70% Sunni. The Iraqi government is barely holding on, so probably not the Iraqi's.
Maybe Iran? Sure, we can say that Iran and the U.S. are fighting ISIS together but that is nothing more than a simple case of "an enemy of my enemy is my friend" type situation. Just remember, Muslim extremists on the whole regardless of being Sunni or Shia, want the return of the Caliphate. At this point, Iran siding with the U.S. against ISIS is because Iran is 89% Shia while ISIS is largely Sunni. Iran is hedging their bets by siding with the U.S. hoping that the Caliphate is dominated by Shia.
How about Turkey? The Syrian Kurds claim that Turkey supplied ISIS with weapons and sanctuary, so probably not even Turkey.
Doubtful the U.S. would either. Sure, Obama sent in another 300 troops, but that was just to beef up protection of the Embassy (presumably to avoid another Benghazi) not to necessarily defend Baghdad from ISIS. All things considered, if ISIS overtook Baghdad the U.S. would most likely pull the American troops and personnel out. Also, don't forget that one of Obama's great accomplishments was to "bring the troops home" so cannot imagine him sending more troops to fight ISIS.
My bet on any one country to stop ISIS from forming a Caliphate, it would be Israel, and that would most likely only be after being directly threatened or attacked and not preemptive. And the chances of ISIS attacking Israel before the Caliphate is solidified are most likely slim, so...

All the muslim extremists are not united so as to support this caliphate. Most likely isis will keep hold of north iraq and the shias the south part where the oil reserves are.The US didn't do any good job in Iraq and would very well not interfere but if it comes to that i don't think the world is gonna watch and do nothing.
