Low Response Gaming Monitor For Under £150

I am looking for a gaming monitor as using a TV is no longer cutting it. I was going to just buy a with as low MS response as I can find, but then I read somewhere on here that MS response means nothing unless it's been tested. Then there's contrast ratios etc that I just don't understand.

So can anyone recommend me a short response time monitor below £150?

The VE248H is a great monitor for the price, especially in the UK.
