Hi Guys,

I am well aware that this type of questions have been asked a million times. And I assure you I have read half of it for hours now but still don't have the faintest idea about the power consumption of my system.

I have prepared my new configuration yesterday as follows;

AMD FX-6300 Vishera
AsRock PRO3 Extreme 970 R2.0
Samsung 4GB PC3-12800
Seagate 1TB (7200/64MB/SATAIII)

I already have a case with 4 12cm fans. Planning on use it.

I have also ordered a corsair 600W PSU but they were out of stock so I have to wait for a week or so.

Today I bought a R7 265 graphic card for 80$ from a friend who won it from a lottery or something.

As quite the inpatient I am, I want to start my system and test some games. I already have a new not-so-famous PSU I have kept for bad times. It reads like this;

+12V1 - 17A
+12V2 - 16A
*The continous total power output is 600W

I know the graphic card needs 150W with 20A or so. And CPU is around 90W. But this psu is a local brand.

So you think I should go for it and play my days till my corsair arrives or go out and have some air for a week? Will there be any power, cooling problems?

It really depends on the brand. You don't want to run the specs with it if it is a 300 Watts power supply rebranded as a 600 Watts power. It also gives information on Maximum Wattage at a given temperature in Celsius.
