Need some RAID0 info for SSD

I have a 240GB OCZ Agility 3 that has been great for a couple years but is reaching its end of life and I want to upgrade. My question: should I go with a 512GB drive or 2 x 256GB RAID0? My motherboard supports RAID and this is primarily a gaming machine, so reliability isn't a big issue but, I need more info.
Years ago, when ssds were really expensive, I had two Corsair F60s in RAID0. I didn't find out until later that Windows TRIM didn't work on striped volumes. Does it work now? Does hardware TRIM? If I get 2 Samsung 840 EVOs, will DRAM caching work? Any reason why I shouldn't RAID?

Advice? Opinions?

The trim function will not work in RAID0 configuration either. You can get a speed increase by RAIDING a SSD in RAID0 but you won't notice a thing unless you run speed testing software. You will have to trim the ssd's manually every so often.

Thanks for the info! That's what I needed to know. 512G it is.

Thanks for the info, RealBeast beat you by about 6 minutes, but good to know TRIM still doesn't work.
