Basically a question between:

[i5-4690 + GTX 770] vs [i7-4790 + GTX 760]

Which is better, first impression?
Better for gaming overall?
Better for MMO FPS gaming?
Better for single player RPG?
Better lifespan of the pc?
Any other comments?

Probably will be mostly speculation, unless someone has recent experience with both builds. Assuming one 1080p monitor.

powerfull video card is more important for gaming ...
haswell quad core will last you a long time in gaming rig ...
(even without hyperthreading technology , since very few games can really benefit from it) ...
