hi folks,
i am wondering why you should buy any higher clocked version of a particular card if the cooler looks the same ?
after all you can reach the same oc thru software or even hardcode higher new values in the card's firmware....
for example the Zotac series.
on this link below you can check all available 780 ti's.
the only differences i found in the description was
- different clock rates
- a few extra games
- Cooler description : "Triple Silencer" "With fan"
lets skip the games...
lets also skip the clock rates since you can boost them to similar values
remains the cooler :
the cooler looks the same for all cards.
the description for this is just a bit different but i guess this is to make it sound different/sell better.
-> this is mainly the reason i am posting about this....
so in the end you buy the same card for 20$-30$ more with just a little higher (factory) oc...
or im a wrong ?
