E6600 2.4GHz: Will an Arctic CPU Fan Help?

I am using an old E6600 2.4GHz computer with an XFX 7750 1GB video card. I've been playing newer games on it like Tomb Raider and Bioschock Infinite and the temps are getting up to 58C with the graphics settings at close to minimum quality in windowed mode.

Would buying an Arctic CPU fan lower my temps inside the tower at all? Would it help much? If there are any better cooling solutions for under $50, I'd like to hear about it. Thank you!

Hello, sorry to bring this thread up, but I would like to ask how this set up is working. I will be getting my PC back from my GF's uncle this saturday, who repaired my old Pavilion and upgraded with an E6600 and XFX Radeon HD 1 GB, and I would like to play games like Bioshock and Skyrim. I already expect playing at minimum to low settings, I just want to know if there has been any problems with this kind of set up. Thanks and sorry if I dropped in on the conversation.
