Cooler Master Hyper 212 issues

I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 with a Gigabyte 970A-UD3P mobo, for some reason I cant get the screws above the cpu to align properly...I know I shouldn't force anything and once I get one screw secured the rest are just not aligned

What should I do??

If you're talking about the 4 mounting screws that attach the cooler to the posts, just start each screw, don't tighten one all the way.
1) Be sure you have the X bracket set up the correct way. Not upside down and open to the correct indent.
2) Be sure the spring loaded screw is in the correct notch in its adjuster.
