I already have read much about the GTX 760 and that it could run any existing game with ultra settings. I have become a die hard fan of it.

I would like to go with my specs first. Display: Samsung S20B300B 20 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor CPU: Intel 3.1 GHz LGA 1155 Core i3-2100 Processor [2.0 Pci Express compatible & not 3.0] Mother Board: Intel DH67BL Motherboard [2.0 Pci Express] HardDisk: Seagate 500GB SATA (4.8 Windows Experience Index) Frequency not good though! Graphics: Radeon HD 5670 & Intel HD 2000 (Inbuilt) Ram: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM PSU: 450 Watts (Non-Brand)

Now its like I want to upgrade to the GTX 760 cards but my other specs like my HDD, CPU, MB will lag with the level of GTX 760 card and won't leverage up. I think it would be a total waste of money because I wont be able to utilize the real power of the the new GPU. The CPU & MB that I have is 2.0 PCI Express & the GTX 760 is 3.0 PCI Express.

Would the cards live up to the expection and levarage up its performance while ignoring other components ? Should I buy it ?

The MSI 760 is amazing, I have two of them in my system. Your games will run a lot better for sure if you put one in; I'd say go ahead and get it. You might wanna consider upgrading your system, though, if you're willing to spend money. Also, I don't think 450 watts is enough for a 760. You need at least 500 watts- though, you can try it with 450 watts and see if it works.
