New graphics card, monitor has signal, then doesn't

I have already posted one thing about this a little ago, but I'm not getting anything on it.

I got a new graphics card and when I put it in at first I wasn't getting any signal, then I unplugged the 4 pin connector from the motherboard for the cpu and plugged it in again. I turned it on, heard one beep like normal, and It was working and then I went to down load the new drivers but it went black and said no dvi signal again!!! I turned it off then on and it was working but this time the resolution was back to normal as if I down loaded the drivers but I never did so I went to down load them and it went no signal again....

Make sure the card is seated and bolted in securely and if it has a pci-e power connector make sure it's plugged in well.

I think im all good now, maybe just my dvi cord thanks man
