I have always had issues with Tom's and my account and email and password just being invailid...I was able to get a request sent to my email but that is now the only place I can get on tom's forum..How to fix current account

You shouldn't need to make a new account. Are you sure that you're not mistyping something?

You can log in with either your username or email. Does one work better than the other.

Are you logged in to your normal account now? Because I can see a deleted account that used to post from the same IP.

i was able to get a bookmark for a forum. Still when at the sign in page I can't use the sign in or join options but nothing happens. This may be a Chrome issue for me, as they are never in short supply of issues, I am able to use my account as long as I just access it though a forum or other link.

I thought that Tom's Forum feedback was a place to post question that Someone that worked with the site monitored more closely...Not really sure how to contact for a site issue or account issue

Do you have adblocking or noscript turned on?

JPishgar (the community manager) checks through here fairly frequently, but most of the issues that we see can be remedied without back-end access.

no. For Chrome I don't really tune it. I may change one or two things but the privacy and security options ar the same as they ever were.
idk what happened one click it was working and the next click it was not

i personally use nothing but chrome to access TH. i even use adblocker and it still works fine.

are you absolutely sure you are using the right credentials to log in?

remember, if you created your account by linking to a google+, facebook or twitter account you may need to click the icons next to "sign in with" to log in via that method.

i know for standard accounts where you created a username and had everything sent to your email address the sign in button works fine with your username and password.

if you do have a standard account with us what does "forgot my password" do for you. after resetting your password to something new are you able to log in? perhaps you mistyped your password during creation.

Seems to work
Ok I re installed Windows 8 Pro (OEM system builder) on a different Z77 MB and an i7. i still have my sandy bridge i5 but the Motherboard has issues. So when signing back Windows I noticed the wallpaper was the same as I had on the other SSD. Also when reinstalling Chrome and signing back in all my Settings and bookmarks were back.
