graphics card help

Ok so i'm not looking to start a fan boy rant here.
So i'm going to start a new project and the one thing that's been annoying me is which card to get i don't care if its AMD or Nvidia I just want my moneys worth.

So here's the mobo I'd like Click Me

And the 2 cards I found
Click Me I'm Nvidia
Click Me I'm AMD

Small requirement, i'd like the card to be able to run a ek full cover water block (i chose ek because they look nice. dont judge me )

Get Nvidia. AMD has bad drivers and causes global warming.

 

[Rationale]

The R9 290 is significantly faster than the GTX 770.

But I'd still get the GTX 770, because I consider it irresponsible to consume more energy than most 3rd world countries. Also for PhysX.
