So I've decided to throw money for a new computer that will (hopefully) be able to game pretty well

CPU: Intel i7 4790k Devil's crayon

GPU: Sapphire Radeon TRI-X R9 290 4GB ''OC''

Motherboard: MSI Z97 GAMING 5, socket 1150

RAM: Corsair Vengeance PRO DDR3 2400MHz 16 GB (2x8 GB)

PSU: Corsair CX 750M, 750W PSU

CPU liquid cooler: Corsair H100i Hydro Series

Total cost is $1573 U.S dollars or €1157 or £916

Are those parts good?

The i7, especially the "Devil's Canyon" overclockable i7, is absolute overkill in most gaming applications. If you're going for extreme future-proofing, fine, but an i5 4670k is perfectly capable even of some more "hardcore" gaming.

And that aswell, I have an i5 and it is great for everything I do, you should get along just fine with an i5 Ce3in. The money you save by switching to an i5 might let you get a GTX 780 or even an R9 290x
