ASRock Z97 + Devil's Canyon - BIOS Update

I'm going to buy i5-4690K and ASRock Z97 Extreme4. Can I update BIOS using i5-4690K or do i have to get older CPU (like i5-4670K)? How to do it? Could you give me some tips?

z97 is readily compatible with the 4690k so if you want to update your bios you will be able to do it using your 4690k

lol, i asked the exactly same question to myself.
dj1997, maybe you should know that AsRock self said that the mainboard supports the 4690k only with Bios Version 1.30.

I asked a shop in what Revision the MB is shipped, but got no answer so far.
I hope that the 4690k will run as Supportdevice and enable me to flash the Bios...
