Hello all,
How do I determine what I can upgrade my video card to on an ASUS P5N-D MB?
Many thanks to all whom takes a crack at this question.
Matt
Present system:
Win7 64 bit
EVGA 8800GT(1)
16GB Ram.
Your board has a conventional PCIe x16 2.0 slot. It can use any PCIe x16 gfx card.

But I'd update the board's BIOS to the latest version just in case. Some older BIOSs have trouble recognizing the newest cards.

Thank you.
Would a video card like this be a good upgrade: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130792
Looking at my present video card EVGA 8800GT the one from Newegg looks like a cutdown version. Wondering if this card is just a minor upgrade.
Too late. I already bought an EVGA GT640 dual. I did a compare using the site you used and it does look like it's a step up.
Many thanks for sharing that site with me.
